My Customer Service Philosophy!

My customer service philosophy is pretty simple — Provide superior customer service in all aspects of what I do and help you by presenting you with education and tools to allow your home-buying experience to be as pain free and cost saving as possible.

I am a big fan of great customer service. Most people say I tip too much at a restaurant. But I appreciate great service, and it seems lately that great service is hard to come by. I will go out of my way to shop at places that provide great service. Why? Because there’s too much in life to worry about without having to deal with lousy service.

I understand that buying or selling a home is one of the most stressful things you’ll go through in life. I understand that no matter how many times you’ve bought or sold real estate that every time is different. I understand the obstacles that can pop up in real estate transactions–and understand how to prevent those obstacles from occurring and how to deal with them when they do raise their ugly heads.

I also understand that you have about half a million banks you can pick from. Most are very good at what they do. I know that if you chose me to help you that you will walk away delighted with the service you receive and, the money you save. The testimonials, repeat business and referrals to friends and family we receive from our clients prove that.

Contrary to popular belief, I don’t finance houses. I am in a service industry and my job is to provide you with superior service. Period. I despise being “hard sold” and harassed, so I certainly won’t do that to you. If you come to my web site or call and request some help, I help you. I don’t then harass you for your business. I amĀ  successful at what I do and I don’t need to hound you for business. When you are ready to buy real estate, I am here for you. If all you want to do is look around, if all you need is an answer to a question, then by all means, look around, ask questions!

If you want to work with a mortgage banker that will listen to your needs, wants and desires and if you want to work with a banker that understands the market and the trials and tribulations of real estate transactions then I would love to have the opportunity to help you.

  1. It was a pleasure working with Richard Smith. Every question I had, he was there to answer and explain. Things I had no clue about he brought to my attention. If there was a way I could save money, Richard found it without me even asking. I can honestly say the process was smooth and he goes through it with you step by step. He even follows up after the deal is done. I give Richard my highest recommendation.
